What's a Jos. A Bank? JAB is a national men's clothier brand specializing in men's formal, business, and casual wear with a heritage dating back to 1905 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Why Jos. A Bank? Unlike the other brands I've worked on before, what attracted me to JAB was the opportunity to work on a single brand holistically and impact a brand with a long, established legacy during a transitional period.
José & Jos. A. Bank. When I joined the JAB team brand, it was going through a transitionary period. The brand was acquired by Men's Wearhouse a few years prior, since then it was working to reposition itself in the market.
I served as the Senior Designer and worked closely with the Creative Director to partner with a large cross-functional team spanning Brand, Marketing, UX, WebOps, Production, and Photography.
I've worked on the day-to-day and high-level initiatives and assisted in refining and defining the brand's 360 visual-language.
The team was tasked with creating a look and feel for the holiday season that was familiar, vintage, with an Americana feel that laddered up to the overarching brand campaign.
